MSF 2026 Provisional Calendar Brings Five Rounds of Racing to Sepang
Malaysia Speed Festival is preparing for another packed season at Sepang International Circuit, with the provisional MSF 2026 calendar featuring five SuperTurismo race weekends between May and December.
The championship schedule includes conventional full-circuit rounds, the highly anticipated Merdeka Race, and a season finale under the lights at Sepang.
For Winbox Racing and Malaysian motorsport followers, the calendar provides plenty to look forward to as MSF continues to offer an accessible and highly competitive platform for the country's racing community.
MSF 2026 Provisional Race Calendar
The season is scheduled to begin in May before continuing through the second half of 2026.
Round 1 — May 16–17, 2026 Sepang International Circuit — Full Circuit
Round 2 — July 4–5, 2026 Sepang International Circuit — Full Circuit
Round 3: Merdeka Race — August 29–30, 2026 SuperTurismo — 111 Laps Superbikes — 12 Laps
Round 4 — October 17–18, 2026 Sepang International Circuit — Full Circuit
Round 5 — December 5–6, 2026 SuperTurismo only — Night Full Circuit
The calendar remains provisional, meaning individual dates and formats may still be subject to confirmation or adjustment.
Merdeka Race Returns with a 111-Lap Challenge
One of the biggest highlights of the MSF calendar is scheduled for August 29–30, when competitors take on the annual Merdeka Race.
For MSF SuperTurismo competitors, this means a demanding 111-lap race.
Rather than the shorter format of a conventional sprint race, the Merdeka event places greater emphasis on endurance, reliability, consistency and team execution.
Drivers need speed, but teams must also manage the car across a significantly longer racing distance.
For MSF Superbikes, the provisional programme features a 12-lap race, adding two-wheel competition to the Merdeka weekend.
With the event taking place immediately before Malaysia's Independence Day, the Merdeka Race has the ingredients to become one of the standout Malaysian motorsport events of the season.
