Winbox Racing Celebrates Victory at Sepang

Winbox Racing Team has secured an impressive P1 finish in the MSF K-Series Battle at Malaysia Speed Festival (MSF) Racing 2026 Round 4, with new driver Akmal Hafiz taking victory behind the wheel of the team's Zeus-inspired Honda Civic EG6.

Competing in the MSF Super Series Sprint at the Sepang North Track, Akmal Hafiz delivered a strong performance in the #838 Honda Civic EG6, completing 23 laps to claim first place in the K-Series Battle category.

The victory marks a successful first race outing for Akmal with Winbox Racing, following the team's recent unveiling of its new Zeus-inspired racing livery.

Akmal Hafiz Delivers Winning Performance in Honda Civic EG6

Starting the race with four competitors in the K-Series Battle category, Akmal Hafiz demonstrated consistent pace throughout the 23-lap contest.

Driving the #838 Honda Civic EG6, Akmal completed the race in 37 minutes and 57.372 seconds, recording a fastest lap of 1:22.202.

His closest competitor, William Yong Poh Choy in the #97 Honda Integra DC5, finished second, 17.366 seconds behind.

Shafiq Johari secured third position in the #303 Honda Civic Type-R, while Dante Clement finished fourth in the #5 Honda EK.

The MSF Super Series Sprint took place during 17–18 October 2026 at Sepang North Track, which measures 2.705 kilometres.

Akmal's fastest lap of 1:22.202 underlined the competitive pace of the Winbox Racing Honda Civic EG6.

The official results confirmed that Akmal completed all 23 laps, finishing ahead of his nearest rival by more than 17 seconds.

For Winbox Racing, the achievement represents an encouraging milestone in its continued participation in Malaysian circuit racing.
