Formula 1 Arrives at Madring
Formula 1 is preparing to race at Madrid's new Madring circuit for the first time, as the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix takes place from September 11-13.
The race marks a new chapter for F1 in Spain, with Madring becoming the 78th circuit to host a Formula 1 World Championship Grand Prix.

What Is Madring Like?
Located around the IFEMA Madrid exhibition complex, Madring combines public roads with purpose-built sections.
The 5.416km circuit features 22 corners, with drivers completing 57 laps on Sunday.
Its standout feature is La Monumental, a spectacular 270-degree banked corner that could quickly become Madring's signature section.
Ferrari Already Has Madring Experience
Ferrari holds one small advantage heading into the weekend.
Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have already driven an F1 car around Madring, completing a filming day at the circuit in July.
The running was limited and cannot be considered a full test, but both drivers will at least have some real-world knowledge before Friday practice begins.
