Winbox Racing has completed the MSF Merdeka 111 Endurance Race 2026 with a major result, securing P1 in class at Sepang International Circuit.

Competing alongside STRATOS Motorsports with the Toyota GT86 race car, Winbox Racing entered the 29–30 August race weekend knowing that the Merdeka 111 would demand much more than outright speed.

After a long-distance battle around Sepang, the team achieved its target and reached the chequered flag as a class winner.

It marks another important result in Winbox Racing's growing 2026 motorsport campaign.

For this year's Merdeka endurance challenge, Winbox Racing joined forces with STRATOS Motorsports, taking on the race with a Toyota GT86 prepared for the demands of long-distance competition.

Endurance racing requires an entirely different approach from a conventional sprint.

A fast qualifying lap can put a team in a strong starting position, but over 111 laps, the race can be decided by consistency, reliability, traffic management, pit execution and the ability to avoid costly mistakes.

The Winbox Racing x STRATOS Motorsports programme successfully brought those elements together to finish P1 in class.

The victory reflects not only what happened behind the wheel, but also the work carried out in the garage and pit lane throughout the weekend.

Another Milestone for Winbox Racing in 2026

The victory continues an important first year for Winbox Racing.

Following the team's official launch in April 2026, Winbox Racing has continued expanding its presence across Malaysian motorsport and different forms of circuit competition.
