Double the Action: Winbox Racing Takes on Two Championships at Sepang This Weekend

Two Cars. Two Championships. One Winbox Racing Weekend.

From 21–23 August 2026, the team will take on Sepang International Circuit with two race cars competing across two different championships.

Representing Winbox Racing in the Malaysia Touring Car Championship will be the team's Toyota GR86, while Winbox Racing x Team610 will take on the highly competitive Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.

For Winbox Racing, the weekend represents another major step forward in its 2026 motorsport journey.

Winbox Racing x Team610 Takes on Porsche Carrera Cup Asia

At the same time, another Winbox Racing machine will be preparing for an entirely different challenge.

Winbox Racing x Team610 will compete in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, bringing the Winbox Racing identity into one of the region's most competitive Porsche one-make racing environments.

The Porsche programme begins on Friday with a test session and two free-practice sessions.

Competition intensifies on Saturday with two qualifying sessions followed by Race 1, before Sunday features Race 2 and Race 3.

That means Winbox Racing supporters will have plenty of opportunities to see the Porsche in action throughout the weekend.


From GR86 Racing to Porsche Competition

Having two cars competing during the same weekend represents an exciting development for Winbox Racing.

The two programmes are very different.

The Toyota GR86 takes Winbox Racing into the competitive environment of Malaysian touring car racing, while the Winbox Racing x Team610 Porsche brings the team into Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.

Together, they represent the expanding scope of Winbox Racing's motorsport activities in 2026.

The August 21–23 weekend will be about much more than a single race.

Across practice, qualifying and multiple races, Winbox Racing will be active throughout all three days at Sepang International Circuit.
